Today I decided I had had enough of moving Dallin's hair out of his eyes and decided to cut it.
I snipped off the offending lock.
I snipped off the offending lock.
I couldn't leave well enough alone.
I thought the back needed to be evened up.
Then it looked too girly. I needed to trim the back. Then the top was uneven...
I snipped.
I cut.

All of a sudden I found myself with a baby with very short hair. I couldn't believe what I had done to him. The poor boy. He looked so thin without all of that hair. He looked so foreign. I wanted to cry. I wanted to undo what I had just done. I couldn't. All I can do is hope that his hair fills in quickly and not make the same mistake again. Leave well enough alone.

Those are sad days when you have to give that hair cut. I never know when to quit either.
Oh so funny! He still looks like a baby model so don't worry about it.
Don't worry. I think he looks just fine. Boys hair grows fast and mistakes are quickly erased. We usually just cut Jack's hair with the clippers. I don't dare use scissors because I would never give an even haircut. We usually get it about the right length with the clippers and it grows fast even if we do make a mistake. But one time we went way too short. Jack looked almost bald. When I held him up to look in the mirror and he saw himself, he cried. You know its a bad haircut when even your 2 year old notices how bad it is.
